First Full day in Perth.

Well our first full day here in Perth, we go down to reception and the first thing the girl says when she realises  that we’re Irish is, “let me tell you where the Irish bar is” so Michael has to check this out just like he has to check out every Irish bar on every holiday we’ve ever been on this one looked much more or less the same as all the rest though I have to say the staff are lovely and they were all Irish and food wasn't half bad so we stayed and we had a little lunch.

Then we headed off down the street just to get a flavour for the area, my overall impression of Perth from images that I’d seen online was it was a city full of skyscrapers but Hays street had a lot of older building that I found charming.

Yet another old worlde building and not one of the large skyscapers in sight.

Still a little bit jet lagged so we headed back to the hotel via the supermarket armed ourselves with some coffee and snacks and settled in for a little nap.

That evening we headed out in search of dinner still a little bit groggy from the nap to find ourselves back again in the lane with the Irish bar, so we settle for Irish food and some music. We stayed for a few hours, then we headed back for even more sleep. Tomorrow we might be acclimatised.
